Joomla! version: 1.5.23

Admin Tools version: Developer's Release svn360

Description of my issue:
"Disable editing backend users' properties" is set to Yes but I can still edit user properties.

I think it worked ok before upgrading to svn360. Not 100% sure though.

When that option is set to "Yes" it disables editing back-end users' properties and throws a 403 Access Denied when you try. When you set the option to "No", it does not disable (therefore, enables) editing back-end user properties and, as a result, allows you to edit your Managers, Administrators and Super Administrators.

So, just set it to "No" and you're ready :)

Sorry I didn't make myself. I have it set to Yes so it shouldn't let me edit user properties. But it does.

I can not reproduce this with Admin Tools svn360.

Please make sure that the "System - Admin Tools" plugin is published.

Check that plugins/system/admintools.php exists and that plugins/system/admintools/core.php, plugins/system/admintools/main.php and plugins/system/admintools/pro.php exist. If unsure, install Admin Tools again, without trying to uninstall it first.

This feature allows you to click on a Manager, Administrator or Super Administrator user. It will open its editor page. But trying to click on Apply or Save should result in 403 Access Denied.

Oh, I get it now. It disables editing of Manager/Admin/Super Admin accounts, but it still lets you edit other types of accounts. Thanks for clearing this up.

Exactly! It only limits editing users with back-end (administrator) access.
