Joomla! version: 1.5.23
PHP version: 5.2
MySQL version: (unknown)
Host: Heart
Admin Tools Professional version: 2.1

Description of my issue:

A minor error message really.
I install the JCE editor (1.5.7.13) on all my new Joomla installs. This is the first time I have used the admin tools.

Installed JCE without issue and all ok.
Installed Admin Tools 2.1 all ok.

When I go to Components and JCE editor in drop down I get the following error message :

Model class cpanelModelCpanel not found in file.

Uninstall Admin Tools 2.1 Pro and the error message disappears.

Not sure what impact this has on everything as this is a clean install, but thought i had better flag it up

Please read this thread for more information.

It's strange that you got that error in Joomla! 1.5. I could not replicate on any of my Joomla! 1.5 sites (which all have JCE installed, by the way).

Hi Nicolas,

I have the exactly same warning. I bought/installed Admin Tools Pro yesterday and have Joomla 1.5.23 and JCE 1.5.7.12.
How can i solve this?

Paul

Hi Nicholas.
Thanks for the work around. I will put that in place later on.

As I mentioned this is a completely clean install.
Haven't even put my template on, or any content.

So Joomla 1.5.23 straight out of the box.
Then I put on Akeeba Backup Pro (3.3.a3), followed by Admin Tools 2.1, followed by JCE 1.5.7.13

Thats as far as I got before I came across the message.

Many Thanks for the quick response!

Paul, please refer to other thread I posted about. It contains the workaround. Are you using Joomla! 1.5 or 1.6? I was only able to replicate this on Joomla! 1.6. Joomla! 1.5 worked without issues for me.

Hi Nicholas,

I work with Joomla 1.5.23. Can I use the workaround you mentioned?

Greetings,

Yes, of course you can. The two lines (the one I tell you to remove and the one that I tell you to replace with) are equivalent and will work on any version of Joomla!.

Guys, I just tried to reproduce this problem. Clean Joomla! 1.5.23 install, Akeeba Backup 3.3.b1, Admin Tools 2.1, JCE 1.5.7.13. This error only appears on JCE's Control Panel page, for the same reasons it appears on Joomla! 1.6's control panel page. Installing JCE 2.0RC2 makes this issue go away. JCE 2.0 is going stable tomorrow, so -once more- this cosmetic issue does not warrant publishing a new Admin Tools release. You can either wait 24 hours to install the new JCE version or apply the workaround.

He he, I never thought that I would ever trigger the same bug on several third-party software by simply using the Joomla! API to do something as trivial as loading a model class file :D

Thanks for the info.
I will wait for JCE 2.0

Keep up the good work by the way!

Thanks for your response, Nicholas!
Because it's only a cosmetic issue I'l wait till tomorrow when JCE 2.0 is released!

And know I'm going to figure out all the other options in Admin Pro which I purchased yesterday. I'm really surprised how secure and effective ATP works and how "unsafe" the Internet really is. ;-(

Thanks and have a nice sunday!

You're welcome guys! I am glad I could be of assistance :)

ATP is the culmination of five year's worth of trying to make my own sites more secure. It'd better be good :D
