Hi there,

I just bought the pro version. I bought it because I am not a coder and wanted to use htaccess. It works but all css is disabled and my ssl certificate is not being used.

the issues with displaying css as you specify will require exceptions applied to your htaccess file.

This process is very easy (even for novices) and is very well documented in the manual. Please review and come back and let us know how you went.

Wow, that's a LOT of very bright pink and orange :s Are you sure you want to go live with that color scheme?

Anyway, in order to have your CSS and JS load, just add the following directory to "Front-end directories where file type exceptions are allowed":
libraries/gantry


This should allow Gantry for Joomla! 1.6 to work properly.

PS Tell your friend that the combination of pink, orange and green is too 1998. In fact, the only thing missing would be an animated GIF of a unicorn and... (drumroll please) magic-stardust-dropping-on-the-screen-like-snow Javascript effect :D
