Hello,

I have JCE and AdminToolsPro install in several sites. All of which had problems when a user attempts to upload an image using JCE's image uploader. Finally, the admin of the JCE forums nailed down the issue - which is the firewall setting for DFI.

Is there anyway that JCE's image uploader could be excluded from the DFIshield feature of the firewall?

I have talked with Ryan (JCE's lead dev) about that. We came up with an exclusion solution that worked in both of our testing. It's the WAF Exceptions that are documented in this page. All you should normally need do is:
1. Install Admin Tools Pro 2.0.2
2. Create a new WAF Exception where component is set to com_jce and the other two fields are left blank.
This should allow JCE to work properly.

Thanks! I've tested and confirmed that the exception allows this to work perfectly.
