I was wondering if there is any way to prevent the admin query string security exception when logging out? I've come across a situation where I keep auto banning myself when logging out with version svn161.

I will have to look into this. The most probable solution is to hijack the logout event and perform an immediate redirection to the home page.

Hi Nicholas,

Is there anything that I can do to help with this? If so, don't hesitate to let me know.

It's fixed in Admin Tools 2.0 which were just released. When you're logging out, Admin Tools' plugin intercepts the logout and instead of redirecting you to administrator/index.php (triggering the exception), it redirects you to your front-end front page.

Ah, fantastic! I had just upgraded to 2.0 and received an Admin Query String security exceptions (tried it a few times, cleared browser cache and Joomla cache). Are there any adjustments or settings that I need to make?

This should only happen if your session times out, not when you are logging out. Did you get the exception when logging out?

Thanks for the feedback, I'll take a look at it again. BTW, is this Joomla! 1.5 or 1.6?

Hi Nicholas,

Jut wanted to report back that initial testing shows that this issue has been resolved in Admin Tools Pro 2.0.1. I'll report back if it turns out to otherwise.

Best,

Matt
