Using Admin Tools, I go to upgrade Joomla (using FTP - write directly does not work on the server).
When I hit the upgrade to 1.5.XX, I get a 500 error
"Downloading http://.......zip failed after 139840 bytes"

If I browse back, and then hit the upgrade to 1.5.XX button again, the upgrade functions normally...
Is there a good chance that the upgrade is missing files etc....

Any thoughts - advice?

In Joomla Admin, under Help -> System Info what does it say for the Joomla! Version?

Usually it works OK and it's just the JoomlaCode.org server don't closing the connection properly after we download the update package. I got that on one of my own sites as well.

Upgrading from versions 1.5.18, 1.5.19, 1.5.20, 1.5.21 to version 1.5.22
I think I noticed it on the upgrade to 1.5.21 too, but I didn't record that instance of the issue.
