All my sitmaps are xml and are located in the root of mentioned site. But they cannot be indexed by Google!
What must be changed in the .htaccess?
Or is a new custom rule in the .htaccess necessary?
Thanks for help!

In the .htaccess Maker find the Allow direct access to these files option. In a new line add sitemap.xml and click on Save & Create .htaccess. The file will now be allowed.

This is required for any file in your site's web root that's not Joomla's index.php file. Other examples of necessary files to allow would be the various .html files you need to put there to validate domain ownership with Google, Microsoft etc, or your favicon.ico (if you're not explicitly setting an icon in your template's HTML).
