Hi,

When I have the Admin Tools -> WAF Firewall -> Hardening option "Monitor Super User accounts" turned on, SU accounts I create get disabled after they log in. If this is done enough times, their IP also gets blocked by the WAF. This is problematic in situations where I occasionally have to give a SU account out to tech support for extension vendors.

Per the Admin Tools troubleshooting guide for this issue, I have tried to delete the SU account (in case it had been created when the "Monitor Super User accounts" option was disabled), then ensure the Admin Tools  "Monitor Super User accounts" option is turned on, and create a new SU account. Following that process I still have the same problem.

How can I properly both use the "Monitor Super User accounts" feature and also create new SU accounts when needed? Once created, can I deactivate and activate those SU accounts?

Thanks,

Ari

Hello,

when you're creating the Super User, is Admin Tools disabled? That would trigger a security exception, since when Admin Tools gets enabled again, that new user is a "surprise" and will be reported as a security exception.
