As Admin Tools is the ONLY software that I've paid for, it was the only category I could select.

This support request is related to the Discover process finding Akeeba Backup Pro, and not Admin Tools.

I want to get rid of Akeeba Backup Pro (version 8.2.6) entry under the Discover process, and FOF30 (3.3.9) if it is related.

And, also the message I get when starting the process of a backup.

Hopefully, the two attachments explain everything.

Delete the folders:

  • libraries/fof30
  • administrator/components/com_akeeba
  • components/com_akeeba
  • media/com_akeeba

This will definitely stop Discover from showing the extensions (remember to click on the "Discover" button again to refresh the cached list shown to you on that page). I believe that it will also stop the setting migration message from appearing, unless there's an #__extensions record stuck as well.

I removed the directions per your instructions. Cleared cache, ran Discover again. Fof30 was still there. Found an entry in the extensions directory pointing to Fof30. Deleted the entry. Now only 2 entries show up in the Discover procedure. Yahoo. Thank you for your quick turnaround.
