Hi, in the exceptions notifications there is a link to ip lookup where i can see the company that owns the ip of the attackers. At this info i see an abuse department email of the company.

Can you advise me from your experience if it will be any good to send email at this address to complain for the attack reporting the ip?

And if i send a complain email what information should i include for the ip owner?

Thank you

It is extremely unlikely you will achieve anything beyond wasting your time reporting just your site's view of an attack, especially that in the grand scheme of things most attacks to your site are such small fry it's not worth the provider's time.

Providers will act when an IP in their network is sending spam, attacking sites en masse, launches a DoS attack, etc. They are interested in big scale problems which can have a financial impact on their operations, expose them legally, or have a chance of being pursued legally.
