I have an issue where the wrong public IP address is being shown on emails informing me of a security exception (see below).

I am using Nginx Proxy Manager to forward requests to my Web Server. As a consequence of this, the public IP address that is showing up is the internal IP address of my Proxy Manager.  I have configured the proxy manager to forward the original public IP of the person trying to connect using the X-Forwarded-For  variable.

I have searched through your existing tickets and found 2 entries that offer me a solution, both say that I need to enable the option "Enable IP workarounds" under "Configure WAF > Basic Features" - however when I go to that page, I cannot see this option.

I have gone through all the other options, but I cannot seem to see it.

Could you advise me, please, where I can find this option.

Thanks,
Phil

UPDATE

I have been doing some more searching, and found that you have removed the option as it is already included in the Joomla code.

I have gone to Global Config > Server > Proxy and changed the option "Behind Load Balancer" to YES - all working as expected again :-)
