Hello there,

We do have slight problem at our website with Admintools - it's not possible to create htaccess file with your htaccess maker. It all started long time ago - around January, when we couldn't access our backend. We had to disable admintools via database. Until last friday - 28. 6. 2024, then we reinstalled admin tools with no luck in resolving this issue, so we upgraded joomla from 4 to 5 with hope that it will help. Unfortunately it didn't, but we managed with deleting old htaccess to restore basic functionality and we can leave admin tools on. It no longer blocks us from accessing our backend.

This is just one of our tries but all of them are the same.

You need to contact your host. The error log snippet here says that Apache (web server) did not receive anything from PHP after 70 seconds. However, the .htaccess Maker cannot possibly take that long. It does not involve remote access, it does not involve writing / reading any big files, it's something that will only take a few milliseconds.

Seeing a 70 seconds delay tells me that something else is going on. Is it possible that the PHP executable is dumping core (crashes)? We can't know that as we're not root on the server, your host is.
