#40132 My Admin Tools for Joomla! application worked, and then stopped after Akeeba Backup for Joomla! reinstall

I am a beginner at this portion of web administration and a first-time user of the Akeeba tools. With that being said, I followed the instructions to the letter. Every step to purchase and install your products went flawlessly until it didn't. Please help me figure this out.

1) I purchased my Admin Tools for Joomla! PRO application on Wednesday, December 27th, 2023, 01:19 CST #100334, installed on a new Joomla 4.4.0 install with Akeeba default settings, and it was running fine.
2) I purchased my Akeeba Backup for Joomla! PRO application on Wednesday, December 27th, 2023, 01:29 CST #100335, installed it on a new Joomla 4.4.0 install with Akeeba default settings, and it was running fine.
3) I used my Akeeba Backup for Joomla! to create a backup and then updated a few items in my Joomshaper SP Page Builder Pro - Joomla Extension
4) Received an error that would not allow the site to function.
5) Reinstalled Akeeba backup per the Akeeba site steps.
6) Full site reinstalled with the exception of the Admin Tools for Joomla! which was NOT reinstalled and WILL NOT install
7) I've tried all I can. I need help with this to get my Admin Tools for Joomla! PRO application back up and running.

I used the Joomla! Extensions: Install section in the back end and uploaded the latest Admin Tools zip from the Akeeba site (pkg_admintools-7.4.8-pro.) The screenshot explains the error that I now receive. I eagerly await your response!

mhm... can I please connect to your site so I can run some checks? I suspect there could be an half installation of Admin Tools that is causing issues.

Please make sure that you have tested the Super Administrator connection using a different browser or machine than the one you are using daily. Double check that logging in is possible and that the user has Super User privileges, i.e. it's not a regular Administrator. Make sure that your site does not block whole countries or IP ranges which would make it impossible for me to log in / connect by FTP. Finally, please do make sure that the FTP connection works and that logging in to it I have access to your site's files.

Kindly note that your site connection information and your site content is handled in strict confidence. Not only we are a reputable development company, we are also bound by law (EU GDPR) to do so. After you file your reply, the connection information to your site will be stored in an encrypted, hidden storage area on our site and will be automatically deleted when this ticket is closed. P.S. I also just noticed that the Akeeba Backup I have installed is NOT PRO, It's CORE. I do not know how that is the case because I purchased both Akeeba Backup and Admin Tools as Pro versions. Can you please assist in making sure I have the proper versions installed? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Additional screenshots showing that I purchased pro products and it shows on the Akeeba website yet, it does not show up anywhere else in the site or in my Joomla! website. Can you verify I have the proper installs?

Hello,

as I suspected, you had an half-baked installation. I manually removed Admin Tools component and then installed it again, everything seems to be working fine.

Regarding your Akeeba Backup installation, please note that you have to download the Pro version from our website and then install it in your site. It won't automatically upgrade from core to pro if you have a subscription.

First, I'd like to thank you for everything that you've done to fix my issue. You and this company have just made a customer for life! Literally, the last few months have been met with all types of customer service horrors from new companies and those I've done business with for more than 14 years, which have created incredibly damaging results for my business. For example, the Version of MySQL on my shared server at Bluehost is still 5.12.x! So I am unable to upgrade to Joomla! 5 unless I have a dedicated server because they have no plans on updating it! And the list goes on... So thank you for doing what you did to get me set up, it was above and beyond what I am used to. I will use your products from now on with all my clients.

I did have one question. I was updating and putting in content on my site and noticed two new warnings.

Unable to find a user with the ID: 871 Unable to find a user with the ID: 716
What are those, and how do I get rid of them because they won't go away?   CT

Thank you very much for your sweet words!

Regarding your issue, that means that those users were deleted. This is something that you should never do, since Joomla users are referenced all around the website and the database. The best thing you can do is to block them and randomize their data, if they really want to be removed from the archives.
