I am having this issue when I upgrade to pro tools 7.4.6 all CiviCRM links no longer work when downgrading to 7.4.4 eliminates the issue.

example page that works under 7.4.4 and doesn't under 7.4.6 is given in the site URL section

thanks for any insight

The task value is invalid. Joomla tasks must conform to the CMD filter which means that only lower- and upper-case letters A-Z (without accents, or other diacritics), numbers 0-9, dots, dashes, and underscores are allowed. The task parameter in CiviCRM contains a forward slash (/) which is invalid.

You can either disable the suspicious core parameter feature, or create a new WAF exception with the following configuration:

  • Component: CiviCRM
  • View Name: (leave empty)
  • Query Parameter: view

Please note that I have NOT tested the WAF Exception method and I don't remember off the top of my head if it will actually do anything in this use case. You can give it a try.
