I found the subject post regarding an issue I'm also having and would like to clean up before I start updating sites from Joomla 4.4.1 to 5.0.1.
I am using Admin Tools 7.4.6 on Joomla 4.4.1, but I'm still getting the Database "problem".
Part of my update preparation involves clearing all the issues in the System (Database, Global Check-in, Warnings, Installation Messages, etc.).
There is a Warning with the following message that I am not clear how to resolve:
The PHP temporary folder is not set. This folder is the folder that PHP uses to store an uploaded file before Joomla can access this file. Whilst the folder not being set isn't always a problem, if you are having issues with manifest files not being detected or uploaded files not being detected, setting this in your php.ini file might fix the issue.
I thought this might be causing the issue with the _admintools_log error in the Database result, but I had trouble finding a way to fix the Warning - I just found one article in the Joomla forum that says it can be ignored. The "Manifest Version" is 7.4.6, so seeing "manifest files" in the Warning, I thought they might be connected.
If they have nothing to do with each other, that will help me. But I'd still like to know how to resolve that PHP temporary folder issue, if that's possible.
Maybe when I upgrade all my client sites to Joomla 5.0.1, these little annoyances will go away.
Thank you,
Ernie
