Hi,

The Admin Tools pro has been quite a helpful tool, but we are seeing some issues with slowness in updating only the WAF Config screens. Even a small change takes way too long to update until the server times out. Our server timeout is set to 300 secs which is reasonable.

Can you please advise how can we fix it and also is there a config file on the server that we can manually update the waf config on for the timebeing to overcome this issue?

Thanks

Hitendra

I believe the problem might be that your site's email setup is wrong, Joomla timing out trying to send an email.

Remember, every time you save the WAF Configuration Admin Tools tries to send you an email with troubleshooting instructions. If your site's email configuration is wrong, Joomla! may be hanging trying to connect to the mail server, hence the issue.

Go to your site's Global Configuration and try to send yourself a test email. If that hangs, you know that the email setup is wrong.
