Our website is very old and has passed through a number of hands over the years, and as a result there are a number of 404 errors that I've been systematically entering into the URL Redirection tool of Admin Tools.
I now have a few hundred redirects listed in there, and I expect many more to be entered in as I work through all the 404 errors.
So I guess my question was just a confirmation of if I'm using the redirection tool correctly. Is it normal to have several hundred redirects (from the many years of the lifespan of this website), and is there a better tool to manage so many?
I note that Admin Tools Redirect tool doesn't have a search function which is a bit of a bummer, because it would be nice to easily find an old redirect and change it to a more appropriate page - but currently sorting through several hundred redirects is a bit of a pain.
