This is following ticket #39007
I followed exactly what you told and now the pop up doesn't show up anymore on front page.
But now I can't access administrator anymore. There is a white page and on left up corner, it's says: Unauthorized
Need help.

Your browser is not sending the administrator password protection credentials to your site.
Delete the administrator/.htaccess file and then re-enable the administrator password protection. If your browser still refuses to ask you for the connection information or send the correct one to your site you might want to check its password manager and make sure it has the correct username and password.
