#38548 Using the Forum Post Assistant - 403 Forbidden or 404 Page Not Found Errors

I am running the most current version of everything. I installed the Forum Post Assistant, and it will not load. I have Akeeba Admin Tools installed. I changed the permissions of the /fpa-en.php file to 777 as well as added permission on the htaccess file.

I'm using the https://mysite/myroot/fpa-en.php as a link. I get 403 Forbidden if I remove the /my root. And I get 404 Page not found, when I use it.

 

I need to upgrade to Joomla 4 and so far it's not working so I'm trying to source the issue using the Forum Post Assistant for Joomla Forums.

Hello,

you have to create an exception inside the Htaccess Maker, so it will allow access to that file. Please add the entry fpa-en.php inside the section "Allow direct access to these files", generate the .htaccess file and try again. That should fix your issue.
