A customer is moving away from us. Before we hand over the website I want to remove download key. I can't find this setting in the extension. Where can I find the key?

Hello,

the download key is inside component params. Please note that post-processing engines that requires OAuth (Box, DropBox, OneDrive, Google Drive and Google Storage) will stop working. That's because you have to connect to our servers in order to exchange the access token with the cloud service and an active subscription is required (the check is performed on the Download ID key).

Under Joomla 3 it was in the Option part of the component. In Joomla 4.2.6 I don't see it there. Is it hidden maybe?

Yes you're right. In Joomla 4 the Download ID is associated inside the update site, you can reach it under System > Update > Update sites or by directly using this link administrator/index.php?option=com_installer&view=updatesites

And I realized that I gave you the appropriate answer for Akeeba Backup, sorry I misread the ticket category.
