Hello, I want to upgrade to Joomla 4 do I need to install the Joomla 4 versions of Akeeba Admin to my Joomla 3.10.11 website before I upgrade to Joomla 4 or do I install it after upgrading to Joomla 4? Thank you in advance

Hello,
Akeeba software for Joomla 3 has a minimum compatibility for Joomla 4, too. This means, for exmaple, that you can keep Akeeba Backup 8 installed, upgrade to Joomla 4 then get back to the component page and you get a wizard to upgrade to version 9. For other products it's even simpler, since once you are on Joomla 4 you can force the update check and the new version will be picked up and installed.
