Sorry premature return as I was expecting some search results.

Php 8.0.27
Admin Tools 7.2.1

Error when Save & Close Configure WAF
Made some changes in Configure WAF clicked on Save & Close drop down form Save and got two error messages.
Save & Close a second time and if was worked without error. Has happened on a number of sites.
For the screenshot: It looks like your password manager was trying to fill in a password. The second time it didn't and the form submitted.
For other sites: most likely you have upgraded from Joomla 3. The first time you try to save the Configure WAF page it will show an error, then it will save correctly. That's because of the change of format in some fields between Admin Tools 6 and 7. For reasons which have to do with how Joomla form fields work we have to do the conversion during save which does mean the save will throw an error the first time. The alternative was to ask you to uninstall and reinstall Admin Tools, deleting all your settings and starting afresh. The same thing will happen if you import settings from a Joomla 3 site for the same reason.
Finally, if you have empty rows in fields which accept multiple rows (Allowed domains, Email domains, Protected Users, 404Shield, Never block these IPs) Joomla itself will throw an error because it doesn't like empty rows. When the page reloads the empty rows disappear and you can save the configuration. This is a known behaviour in Joomla for which there is apparently no solution which doesn't introduce a different bug. So, we have to put up with it.
