Please delete the file administrator/cache/autoload_psr4.php
. Also make sure that the administrator/cache
folder is writeable, if deleting this file results in Joomla still not loading either with a blank page or with an error page saying that it cannot write to a file.
Joomla is supposed to do that automatically when it installs or updates an extension. If, however, this file cannot be replaced there is no error handling logic in Joomla (I kid you not!) which leads to Joomla being unable to load the newly installed or updated extension. This is exactly what happened to you.
This is a Joomla bug I have reported several months ago. Unfortunately, the person who wrote that code told me to “go f… myself”, he was summarily banned for life from the project within 5' of his vile remark, but the bug remained unfixed. At this point I don't think I can do much else except tell the stark minority of my clients affected by this issue how to fix it and the rather sordid history of the bug report to the Joomla project.
