#38144 My ipv6 address gets blocked in Joomla4

General all Joomla 4 websites (joomla 3 websites no problems with it)

Recently my provider is handing out ipv6 addresses. These are dynamic.
I am now unable to log in as admin.

I temporarily disable provider.php all the time (more than 90 websites in my admin). Even from the first attempt it fails to login. Instead of the login page I am immediately redirected to the home page of the website.

How can I solve this so that I can still get access with a changing ipv6.
By the way, why am I blocked on the first login attempt?

The same thing happens on your (this) website, by the way: When I click my bookmark to your login page, I am first redirected back to the homepage, and have to click login separately to log in.

Hello,

the problem is not caused by IPv6, Admin Tools works fine with that. The real problem is that your IP keeps changing.

I think you can not use the Exclusive Access to Admin area feature, since it requires a fixed IP address. This feature usually is enabled by default when you run the Quickstart Wizard

That's a pity, I used that option precisely because I always work from the same office.
