Hi,

is there a possibility to block IP address which are sending Rescue URL requests? I am currently getting plenty of rescue URL requests per day from the BitDefender VPN network (81.161.59.17).

Access is closed fo this address, but rescue URL requests are still getting through

Thank you

Not in Admin Tools, because of the definition of what the Rescue URL does: it ignores the blocked IPs so you can unblock yourself if your IP has been accidentally blocked. If we block access to the Rescue Mode trigger URL by blocked IPs then you cannot use Rescue Mode when you need to use Rescue Mode which is the exact same thing as disabling this feature completely (something already possible).

You can, however, block IP addresses at the server level — either at the actual server or at the web server level. Ask your host about it. They might even have a tool in their hosting control panel.
