As soon as I run the setup wizard the site crashes.  I am not sure what I am doing wrong.  Both the frontend and the backend are affected.  Please see screenshot.

I apologised for having opened so many tickets.  I dont know how that happened.

Support will be appreciated.  Thank you in advanced

Hello,

screenshots were not uploaded. Currently your site is working or it's offline?

Thanks I am attaching it now.  The site is offline after running the wizard.  I noticed it before that my site crashes when I run the wizard but this is only with Joomla 4 sites.

Ok, this happens because you set the option "Create a security tightening .htaccess" to Yes. Please disable it and try again. By the way, you can regain access to your site by simply renaming the .htaccess file to something else, so it won't be loaded.

Since .htaccess directives are very dependent to the server, I suggest you to use default Joomla .htaccess file, then when you move to the live server you can use Admin Tools Htaccess Maker.

I managed to rename the .htaccess file so I can get back in.

I'm sorry I cant find the option "Create a security tightening .htaccess" in the WAF.  I watched Brian's tutorials.  On his screen it's under Project Honeypot but I dont see that option in the WAF at all.

The website is on localhost but I have three live sites I need to configure and now I am so nervous.

The option "Create a security..." is inside the Quickstart Wizard, and it's enabled by default. This will simply tell the Htaccess Maker to create the file using the default options.

Please remember that Admin Tools will always create a backup copy of your .htaccess file calling it .htaccess.admintools , so you can easily revert to the previous situation by renaming that file to .htaccess
