I'm trying to complete a PHP security scan, but I quickly get this error:
Data too long for column 'data' at row 1
Is there a way around this?
Oh, BTW, the search feature for the Akeeba forums doesn't work correctly
Everybody will be able to see its contents. Do not include usernames, passwords or any other sensitive information.

Go to Components, Admin Tools for Joomla, Control Panel, Options, File Scanner and set “Calculate diffs when scanning” to No.
There is a file in Joomla 4.2.1 which generates a difference view (diff) larger than the maximum space we have allocated for diff's in the database. It happened to me on 4.2.1-RC2 and my wife confirmed it on one of her clients' site upon upgrade to 4.2.1. Trying to identify and fix this is on my to-do list for today.

This just happened now after my update to Joomla 4.2.8. I'm using Admin Tools Professional 7.2.3.
Version 4.2.8 is newer than 4.2.1. The file in question started existing SINCE version 4.2.1 (which was the latest version when we last had this discussion in August), therefore it still exists in version 4.2.8.
The solution is exactly the same as what I gave you in August.
