Hi,
I have migrated Joomla website from v3.10.3 to v4.0.4.
And installed Akeeba Admin Tools v7.0.6 over the the version used with Joomla! 3.10 (v6.1.3).
The file_admintools File was not auto-uninstalled.
Can this be safely uninstalled?

Hello,
no you should leave it in place. The whole Admin Tools "package" is made of several different extensions, my suggestion is to leave it in place and do not interfere with Joomla way of handling installed packages.
If in the future any extension would become obsolete, we will provide the tools to automatically remove it, like we did with the Magic Eraser.
