Hi, i've two questions:

1. generating .htaccess with Admin Tools and default settings i've error 500, is there a way to know which setting is responsible of 500 err?

2. Where the "Htaccess Maker System Settings" Section settings are saved?

Thanks

Mauro

1. No. You'd need to look into the server error logs at a detail level not provided by most hosting companies. Hence our documentation instructions of disabling all features and enabling them one at a time to see what causes the problem.

2. I could tell you, but I won't. You are NOT supposed to change any settings by yourself in the database. You'd very likely break your site and we'd be unable to help you in a way that doesn't come to "uninstall and reinstall the extension, losing all your settings". Instead, let's address why you are asking. If you want to keep a copy of your configuration settings use the Export Settings feature in Admin Tools. Exporting the WAF configuration will also export the .htaccess Maker configuration (it exports the cparams row). If you mess something up you can use the Import Settings feature to import this file back to your site.

I discoverd the problem looking server logs !

I had put the rules recommended by joomla in the section "Custom rules .. top of file"

I must now understand if the problem is these rules or their position because in the log I found this: ".htaccess DirectoryIndex not allowed in <RequireAll> context

Do not add any rules the Joomla project recommends. These are things we have implemented 3 to 8 years earlier in Admin Tools' .htaccess Maker.
