#34499 Allow access and reading of a file, present in the site root

Google asks me to upload an ads.txt file in my case for verification. The file must always be available.

Through the settings I see that you can allow or block different types of files for the subfolders of the root directory.

But the file in question has a 404 error currently.

Since this file must be in the site root, and google requires it to always be readable, what rules or settings should I use for this single file, which resides in my site root

Salve,

è necessario aggiungere un'eccezione per quel file all'interno della pagina Htaccess Maker (maggiori info qua: https://www.akeeba.com/documentation/admin-tools/server-protection.html).

Dovrà inserire il nome del file nel campo Allow direct access to these files e generare nuovamente il file .htaccess . Dopodichè dovrebbe essere visibile.
