Some Joomla releases come with recommendations to update the default .htaccess file, for example the one in the attachment. How do I change Admin Tools' default .htaccess?
Everybody will be able to see its contents. Do not include usernames, passwords or any other sensitive information.

You do not need to take Joomla's recommendations about the .htaccess file into account. We do it for you and give you the relevant .htaccess Maker settings.
In fact, Joomla 3's recommendations for .htaccess changes have been lagging 3 to 8 years behind what we have already been doing in Admin Tools' .htaccess Maker!
