Hi NIcholas
Thank you for your response. I renamed the file back to main.php since it is not the problem
Below is the email they sent me. I believe they messed up somewhere
Thank you for your mail and we sincerely apologise for the delayed response to your query.
I have taken a look and it appears that you may have a plugin within your Joomla site which is blocking you from being able to access. I did a Google search ("You are a spammer, hacker or an otherwise bad person" joomla) and found the following forum discussion:
https://www.google.com/url?q=https://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?t%3D933867&source=gmail&ust=1603457355466000&usg=AFQjCNFMAHFnekwr4Gp6DiJJBQrt1bpzjw">
https://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?t=933867
Based on the discussion in the above link, they suspect that the Akeeba plugin is causing this issue. This then led me to look for methods on how to disable Akeeba plugin on Joomla and I found the following article:
https://www.google.com/url?q=https://www.joomlashack.com/blog/joomla/disable-admin-tools/&source=gmail&ust=1603457355466000&usg=AFQjCNFn5F0tPcMJ0v6-cdFLTAvOQlQsFA">
https://www.joomlashack.com/blog/joomla/disable-admin-tools/
I tested by going to the plugins/system/admintools/admintools folder within
https://www.google.com/url?q=http://estam.co.za&source=gmail&ust=1603457355466000&usg=AFQjCNFCHfAhcUbhH36wICsWdLQfFYgdqQ">estam.co.za and renamed the main.php file to something else. I then browsed to the website and it displays web content. As I do not have login details and we should not have these login credentials of yours, I am unable to test.
Please check to see if you were to rename plugins/system/admintools/admintools/main.php to plugins/system/admintools/admintools/main.php-disable and then test to see if you are able to access the back end once more.
Kind Regards,
