Nicholas,

I noticed today that our website northhillsauto.com is no longer redirecting non-www traffic to www. We had originally configured this in Admin Tools. When I reviewed the .htaccessmaker in Admin Tools, I discovered that the option to redirect www is set to "Do not redirect" and the dropdown is grayed out and non-selectable.

Any insight into any configuration options or conflicting code that might be causing this result?

You need to edit your configuration.php file and remove the setting in $live_site.  Setting www there overrides .htaccess Maker.
