Hello,

Following an update requested by the Joomla panel, i receive an error message :

"Une erreur s'est produite (An error occurs)

Library path /libraries/astroid/framework/library/astroid cannot be found."

As a result the access to the site (http://tixalis.fr) is not working

and the same error is displayed for http;//tixalis.fr/administrator

What may I do ?

note : I have renamed the file /.../main.php but no change)

Thank you.

Alain.

Alain,

This doesn't sound like an Admin Tools problem.  You were correct to rename main.php but there is a second part of Admin Tools - the enhanced .htaccess file.  Please rename your .htaccess file, then rename htaccess.txt to .htaccess.  The htaccess.txt file is Joomla!'s "plain vanilla" .htaccess file that we use for testing.  Note that some hosts cache the .htaccess file so it may take some time for it to become effective.

If this doesn't fix the problem, it isn't caused by Admin Tools.  You have disabled the Web Application Firewall and swapped out the .htaccess file, there isn't anything left of Admin Tools still running.

Dear Mr Brackin

Thank you for your prompt answer.

My problem is not fully sold, probably because I do not understand what "plain vanilla" .htaccess means
and where I can find this file.

My apologies, I should not have used that term.

The htaccess.txt file is installed with Joomla! in the root of your site.  It lacks the security enhancements that the Admin Tools .htaccess file has, so it is less likely to block extensions or cause a 500 error.

Hello,

Thank you to "Akeeba Backup" and "Akeeba quickstart".

Using a recent backup my site is now working.

Best regards,

Alain.
