I installed admin pro. I did what I think is the default .htaccess with it.
I have an addon domain via cpanel that is just a html page with a few links. The addon domain gives me a 403 now. If I disable the .htaccess it works again. Any ideas ?
Everybody will be able to see its contents. Do not include usernames, passwords or any other sensitive information.

It sounds like your add on domain is installed in a sub-folder of your main site. If that is the case, it would inherit the .htaccess commands from your Joomla! site.
To allow the add on domain to be viewed, you need to go to .htaccess Maker and add the folder (or file) into one of the fields in the Exceptions section. There are three fields there:
There is one other possibility if your add on domain uses index.php as it's entry point. In that case Redirect index.php to the site's root must be set to No.
