I have been installing Akeeba Tools Pro 5.7.4 over old installs throughout my sites. Now they all say I don't have the most updated version which is 5.7.3. Should I downgrade to 5.7.3?

No, the latest version is 5.7.4 and it's reflected in the update XML served by our CDN.

Did you install the new version manually? If you did, the problem is that your site is still seeing the old update information from two days ago. Give it another day or two. If it doesn't stop nagging you, you might want to go to Extensions, Manage, Update and click the Clear Cache button on the toolbar to reset Joomla's update cache.

I did install it manually. The extension update section of Joomla did not show it needed an update even though I was still on 5.6.0. I'll give it a few days to clear. Thank you Nicholas.
