Hi!

We noticed some user where being blocked by Adin Tools when tying to reset their password. URL:

?task=reset.request

Reason: CSRF shield

Can you explain why this could happen and maybe how we can prevent this from happening to - what I believe to be- 'good' users?

Kind regards,
Jip

Hello,

I'm sorry but I can't replicate the issue.
What's the value you are using for CSRF shield? Is it basic or advanced?
Are you 100% they are legit users?

Hi Davide,

Thanks for looking in to this. We had the setting on 'advanced' but I turned it down to 'basic' for now.

I can't be 100% sure all users are legit. But I had some complaints from users that do have an account and were not able to use the reset function. But maybe the 'basic' setting will fix this for them.

Kind regards,
Jip
