I restored with Kickstart a backup taken with Akeeba Backup on my local server. That is, it was and still is a live site with Admin Tools by which (htaccess Maker) I created a .htaccess file. On the live site, it works.
However, after restoring the site on my local server, I keep having "https:://" put before "localhost", and of course it doesn't lead anywhere.
I know about the htaccess, but since I can't access the backend, I can't login and use Admin Tools and htaccess Maker; I tried to delete the htaccess file on the web server, cleared cache, restarted browser and web server...and I keep getting redirected...I don't know where else to look to...
Any would help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
