Yesterday we installed a new Joomla site at Siteground.
We are not using the Siteground security features on this account.
We have Admin Tools Pro in place and used it to create our .htaccess file.
We noticed that PHP 7.1.x was active on this account, so went to cPanel and changed it to 7.3.12. So far so good.
But, after a couple of hours the PHP-version automatically switched back to 7.1. Admin Tools reported a change to the file (yes!), also Joomla shows an error about the old version in the back-end.
Switched back in cPanel, but again it goes to the old version.
I asked Siteground, they say they add a line of code to the htaccess file. I have added the most recent file (changed it to a txt file for upload purposes here).
Maybe you could tell me what line I could add to Admin Tools htaccess maker to prevent the change? I do understand why the reversion is made, but we want to use php 7.3.
Thanks!
Maurice
