I am running an older Joomla website for one of my customes (who won't probably want a new website).
He says that many visitors are being blocked by the firewall.
Should I disable the tmpl? Is it safe?
Most blocked are template= in URL and tmpl= in URL

what's the blocked URL? Can you please paste it here?
For the template= issue, the easiest thing is to turn on the option Allow site templates inside Configure WAF page. This means that Admin Tools will allow the switch to other existing templates, blocking request to non existent ones.
Regarding the tmpl= issue, I suspect some component is using a tmpl value that is not a common one. You should add it inside the Configure WAF in the field List of allowed tmpl= keywords.

The owner tells me that some visitors are being blocked by the firewall.
I asked for the IP addresses from a couple of the blocked visitors that are legit.
And searched the IPs in the blocked IPs list of akeeba admin tools but I cannot find those IPs in the blocked list.
Am I searching in the wrong place?
I cannot figure why they are being blocked.
