can you please explain what you're trying to achieve?
Password management is performed by Joomla, this is where you can set and edit user password.
If you're referring to the feature Protect backend with a password, in that case the additional username and password is the same for every Joomla user. Such extra authentication is performed directly by your server, even before Joomla has a chance to run.
