Hello!
This morning, I tried to update AdminTools Pro on my website to version 5.3.1. I received the following messages:

Message
Uninstalling the plugin was successful.
×
Warning
JInstaller: :Install: File does not exist /home/xxxxxxxxxxx/public_html/plugins/system/admintoolsactionlog/admintoolsactionlog.xml
Package Install: Could not copy setup file.
×
Error
Error updating package.
x
Admin Tools Professional installation package v.5.3.1

When I check in CPanel, there is no admintoolsactionlog directory or admintoolsactionlog.xml file, as the messages indicate. When I check Admintools in the Extensions Manager, it indicates version 5.3.1 with a date of 2019-04-22.

I have updated AdminTools Pro previously with no errors.

Please advise as to what I should do.

Hello,

can you please try to manually install Admin Tools twice in a row, without uninstalling it?
We moved the action log plugin to a different folder, it seems that is causing some issues to Joomla. Usually installing twice in a row should fix your problem.

Thank you for your speedy reply!

Per your instructions, I downloaded the AdminTools Pro 5.3.1 from the Akeeba website, and then installed it twice in a row. Both installations ended with a "Installation of the package was successful" message. Checking through CPanel, I still don't have a /home/xxxxxxxxxxx/public_html/plugins/system/admintoolsactionlog/admintoolsactionlog.xml file. You mentioned that the action log was moved to a different location. Was it moved TO the plugins/system/admintoolsactionlog folder, or FROM it? If FROM, what is the new location, as I would like to verify that it exists.

Thank you again for your speedy reply!
