After the AT upgrade to version 5.3, the error message error:

Fatal error: Access level to AtsystemFeatureNonewadmins::hasAdminGroup() must be protected (as in class AtsystemFeatureAbstract) or weaker in [...]public_html/plugins/system/admintools/feature/nonewadmins.php on line 263

You have installed the newest Core (free of charge) version on top an older Pro (paid) version. This is not a supported update path. Delete the folder plugins/system/admintools, log in to your site and install the newest Pro version.

DO NOT uninstall Admin Tools before installing the newest Pro version. If you do that you will lose all your settings!
