Hi
I am using Admintools on a Siteground staging server and have locked myself out of the administrator backend. When I try to use the /[email protected] I am redirected to the master site and so I am unable to remove the blacklisting of my IP

To clarify, I would like to access http://staging20.mydomain.com/administrator but the admintools_rescue utility redirects me to http://mydomain.com/administrator

from the file manager inmy cpanel I have checked that the $live_site is set to '' - it is.
I don't know how to resolve this : please could you help?

In this case, let's do it manually instead of using the rescue URL. The instructions are here: https://www.akeebabackup.com/documentation/troubleshooter/atwafissues.html. The manual instructions start under the blue Tip box, at "Using FTP to regain access to your site's administrator". That will disable Admin Tools on your staging site and let you get back in.

I would also like to note that it looks like you're using the wrong URL. The URL should be ending in /index.php?[email protected] i.e. the admintools_rescue is part of the URL parameters, not the URL path.

If you forgot the index.php? part then the URL is invalid and Joomla is trying to redirect you to an error page -- the redirection does not come from Admin Tools. If you are using a SEF extension it is possible that it stores the domain name of the original site and redirects you there instead of the staging site but that has nothing to do with Admin Tools.

I've sorted the issue by renaming the main.php temporarily as the help page suggested - a good quick fix. My apologies, Dale, for missing that page initially.
