We have a site on Amazon Lightsail. There are some bots that are accessing one specific url path "/example" and that appear to bring the site down eventually (in couple hours). I tried enabling the WAF and enable "Block access from specific user agents". There are quite a few ip's to block by ip.
Any recommendations to stop these requests and keep the site up? Thank you

Hello,

they are bringing down the site because they are using too many resources? If they aren't actually triggering any security exception, your only solution is to use a CDN to proxy their requests and serve a cached version of your site, preserving resources.
Since you're already on AWS, I think it should be easy to integrate with CloudFront.
