Hi! Lately one of our sites gets a lot of registrations with email accounts from the top level domain .xyz.

Is it possible to use AdminTools to block registrations with email account that are on this top level domain?

For example:
[email protected]

We would like to block registration with something like this:
*.xyz

Can this be done?

The "Email Domains" feature in Admin Tools' WAF performs partial matching. Therefore adding .xyz there would block all email domains with that TLD.

Caveat: since it does partial matching it will block any email address containing the .xyz literal, e.g. [email protected]. While someone could assume that we could split the email address at the at-sign or do a right hand search only on the email address it wouldn't work reliably because of the totally insane RFC defining what is a valid email address.
