After updating Admin Tools Pro from 5.0.1 to 5.0.2 this message appears:
Admin Tools is not protecting your site yet. Please run the Quick Setup Wizard to configure Admin Tools on your site.

When I check .htaccess maker my settings are not present. Currently my .htaccess file created by Admin Tools a while back is still in place. But I'll won't create a new one because then these settings are not in place anymore.

I've checked to see if perhaps the #__admintools_storage is corrupt but this does not seem to be the case. But there is not much content in this storage table. The .htaccess settings are not in here anymore.

Hello,

that's very strange, since I can't replicate your issue in any way.
Can you please give me more info on it? How did you perform the update? Using Joomla update system or by manually uploading it?
Do you have a backup of your site when Admin Tools 5.0.1 was installed? I'd wish to see if I can replicate the issue

Hey Davide,

I'm sorry but I can not disclose our backups. I've updated Admin Tools through the joomla updater.

I've been able to restore a backup from the day before. If I get the data from #__admintools_storage and copy it to my live site I should be OK again, right?

Before the update I remember I had renamed the admintools plugin file (plugins/system/admintools/admintools/main.php to main-disabled.php). I'm not sure if this could have anything to do with it.

Kind regards,

Wim

Yes, it should work, just take another backup before doing this operation, just in case anything goes wrong.

No, that's unrelated

I've restored the #__admintools_storage table from a previous backup and all is fine again.
