Before I update either Admin Tools pro, or Akeeba Backup, the control panels look fine and icons are ok.

Once I update Admin Tools the icons change to wider bars accross the screen instead of the nice layout of small icons. (using FireFox)

The same change happens to Akeeba Backup Core if I update it to 6.0.0

I have searched but see no info as to changes made to the standard Cnt-Pnl layout.

I see some differance using Internet Explorer (Bars are not all the way accross the screen) instead of FireFox, but control panel layout is still changed.

I include 2 images showing the changes. I restored to older Joomla so I could get image of old icon layout but BOTH extensions make similar changes.

After hours of searching BEFORE i sent this ticket, I just saw on the site that this change was announced.

Yes, there are major appearance changes to the new version, but those full width icons are not what you're supposed to see. It should look similar to the old view, but with completely new icons.

Please clear your browser cache to see if that fixes it. That's the usual answer, but you used two different browsers which makes me wonder.

Hi Dale,

Thanks for looking and the re-open

I did notice a great increase in the threats from 10 to 0ver 100, but I see they appear to be new search malware codes. (I hope).

I spent more time reading your entire site and saw that my firefox was older than 6 months. I updated it to "58" and the icons look more like squares instead of full width lines. Of course It (FF-58) replaced my colorful bookmarks menu with all grey, but such is life.

All seems to be working fine. I was just suprised that I did not see the Cnt-Pnl change in the changelog files I read and only when I visited the site "Home" did I see the "Announcements" of the change.

I did use 2 browsers. Internet explorer "ver 11" showed smaller bars, not squares, but I know it is "OLD" as I do not use it as a rule. It did however show me it was most likely a Browser issue and reading possible issues with browsers with the new Panel change, I updated FireFox.

I also want to say that Admin Tools has saved me hundreds of hours and kept my sites safe for over 2 years now. It is perhaps the greatest single app I have used. ECC+ also help with forms.
