Dear Admin Tools Support
First of all I would like to thank you for providing such valueable component, making my site more secure.

However, I have a problem with using different templates on my site.
I purchased Admin tools for my travel site. I am working on custom template (made by Dj-Extensions crew, not by any freelancer...).
However I want to extend my website by reservation system that is working on completly different template (it is called leothian template working on t3 framework and I want to install JOMRES Component)

I have problem with using different template.
In menu options, under "template style" I choose the template I want to use (jr_leotian)
After that I went to Admin Tools -> Configure WAF -> Visual Fingerprinting Protection and set option as below:
Block tmpl=foo system template switch = "no"
List of allowed tmpl= keywords = I added "jr_leotian"
Block template=foo site template switch = "no"
Allow site templates = "yes"

Still nothing is working. When I enter the menu position I set previously for new template, the old template loads

Hello,

Admin Tools allows the whole request or blocks it, it doesn't load something else.
Let's make sure that the problem is indeed caused by Admin Tools. In order to do so, try the following:

1. Try setting the Error Reporting level in your Global Configuration to "None". Many errors are caused by harmless PHP Notices and Warnings being output to the browser, breaking anything which requires HTTP header manipulation such as Joomla!'s session management, AJAX calls and download systems.

2. Try to replicate the issue after disabling the "System - Admin Tools" plugin. If you can still replicate the issue, it is not caused by Admin Tools. Disabling that plugin means that Admin Tools code (including the Web Application Firewall) is not running on your site.

3. If you suspect an issue with the .htaccess file, replace its contents with the contents of the stock htaccess.txt file shipped with every version of Joomla!. If you are on GoDaddy please wait for 1-30 minutes for the changes to be effective. Then, retry loading the problem page. If you can still reproduce the error, then it is not caused by .htaccess Maker.

If doing any of the above resulted in the issue still occurring, it's not related with Admin Tools and we can't help you. If doing any of the above did stop the issue from occurring, we'll have to do some troubleshooting.

First go to Admin Tools, Web Application Firewall, Configure WAF. Make sure "Log security exceptions" is set to Yes; if it's not, set it to Yes and click on Save. Now try reproducing your issue. Immediately after that, please go to Admin Tools, Web Application Firewall, Security Exceptions Log. The latest log entry at the top should have the date and time of when the issue occurred. Please copy the Reason and Target URL here so that we can further help you.

If, however, you do not see a log entry, or the Date and/or IP address do not match your last access, this problem is not caused by Admin Tools' WAF. In this case, you will have to do some .htaccess troubleshooting. You may need to read the general .htaccess troubleshooting page, as well as the page on finding out necessary .htaccess exceptions.

Dear tampe125

Thank you for your time writing response, also thank you for taking such immediate action.

As I followed your steps and it seems problem is not Admin Tools...
I disabled Admintools, Set Error reporting from default system conf to none, recovered default .htaccess and ... nothing changed.
I will look for solution elswhere, maybe write on forum (here), maybe someone had similar problem

I have found the reason of this problem.

When I have SEF URL turned ON in Global Configuration - I can't use different template under particular menu.

When I turn it off, everything loads as intended but the url's are pain in .... you know where :(

I know that this is problem outside of Akeeba but I decided to post it here so maybe someone will meet similar problem and
a) they will have it easier to dig deeper
b) someone already solved this problem

Thank you very much for your heads up!
I think that's something related to Joomla or your template, you should ask support inside Joomla forums on get in touch with the template developer.
