Seeing significant increase in system generated emails from my websites' Admin Tools containing reference to:

JDatabaseDriverMysqli

and

JFactory

The system generated email subject line begins:

"Security exception on ..."

I am assuming that these notifications are confirmation that an attempted hack has been blocked.

If YES then could the subject line in future be changed too a form of words which confirms this.

For example:

"Admin Tools has blocked another attempt to hack your website ..."

I ask this because it is a little disconcerting to be informed of a SECURITY EXCEPTION when as far as I can tell such emails are actually flagging the block of a potential hack.

Or do such messages mean an exception has occurred i.e. a hack has taken place.

Hopefully not!

Kindest regards,

Ken

Hello,

this is a standard email notice sent by Admin Tools to tell you that an attacker tried to compromise your site, but Admin Tools stop the attack.
So don't worry, your site is safe!
